How To Install libreoffice on ubuntu 10.10

Install LibreOffice on Ubuntu 10.10

before installing LibreOffice you need to remove existing openoffice from your system using the following command

sudo apt-get purge openoffice*.*

and than update source list to PPA

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libreoffice

if you use gnome change to libreoffice to gnome
sudo apt-get install libreoffice-gnome

After that you can check to Application ----> Office
